NECA is really inconsistent with what they show. They've displayed a Blue Bird season 1 head (which isn't included with the figure) as well as Bert's "Boring Stories" book in place of the book he's supposed to have. On display is also an Ernie figure that looks way better than the one released.

Yeah, he has a collar and chain, a bowtie collar (no one really seems to know why) and crayons. Same. I hope they come out together like Bert and Ernie.

Realistic hopes: whatever character is coming after Oscar, Muppet Babies accessories/pack pairings and Piggy's alternate head. It does feel like a new Muppet is more likely than anything but who even knows anymore. 🤷‍♂️

You're probably right. Such a weird roundabout way they can do it. Yeah, I was skeptical myself this will be a slam dunk and that people will be all over it.

I'm not crazy about it. If it's just Big Bird's season 1 head but blue that will be telling; alternate head should be a sad head. Kind of seems like a pointless figure if they weren't able to fully go in on Follow That Bird.

Super Grover wasn't a shadowdrop; he was shown at Toy Fair prior to his release. It means if the reveal is literally someone just finding it on a store shelf, or if there's like an Instagram post revealing them the day they come out. I don't think that's NECA's MO. Imagine if we go from them...

I don't think this event will honestly have any Muppets or Sesame. It doesn't seem like NECA ever shadowdrops stuff; it seems like Volume 6 should be at NYCC. NECA's website has pushed Oscar into next year. Sheesh

The "Volume 6" thing still remains incredibly weird. That would be awesome. It's too bad Mirage never got to it when they put out those two KH1 waves in the early aughts.
