This is a really tough, tough question. I'd say it's a three way tie between Gobo, Robin, and Floyd. But that's hardly a good answer. His announcing voice is really awesome too. He's like the fourth main character of the Veterinarian's Hospital sketches or the reason you can walk into a room of...
It's been far too long since I last posted here, but this news really rattled me.
It wasn't altogether unexpected news; after all, our time on this Earth is brief, but it was just such a gut-punch to hear. His characters were such a pivotal part of my childhood and beyond and I would have...
I do like that song, quite a lot. It's my favorite Mokey song, for sure.
I think most of my favorites from Fraggle Rock were the peppy, up-tempo songs, but I really like the way Ragtime Queen flows. It's one I have found myself humming more than once.
It's actually Louis (Like Louis Armstrong). I liked that character alot. I found his character design to be very appealing.
I got a Louis plush and Naveen plush and Ray plush from the Disney Store.
I always loved Don Bluth's films, especially the ones from the 80s. Rock-A-Doodle was a film that I never had on video, but I watched it all the time. Actually, I think it was the only movie we ever rented when I was a kid. I do have it on DVD. It's not one of Don Bluth's best, but it has a...
There are some shows on Fox News that aren't completely focused to a conservative audience, but Fox News does have a conservative spin overall. When they say fair and balanced, I have no idea what they mean other than "We're fair and balanced... in a one sided way." Most other news channels do...
I have to agree with you. I read the book as a child and where it came from wasn't an issue. Everyone just accepted it. And the book just didn't have enough content to merit a feature length film. It might have made a nice 30 minute short film, but honestly, can't anything just be left to being...
I am a lifelong Disney fan. I've always loved Disney. However, it is a big company and it would be impossible for me to agree with everything they are doing. I think they are on the right track.
I think it's sad to say, but if I were growing up today, I don't know if I would be such a big...
I had that problem for the longest time. The worst thing was, I couldn't remember which one was Statler and which was Waldorf. Of course I do now, but I have always been bad with names and faces. Even if those faces happen to belong to a Muppet.
Uh. They look old and wrinkly. They all seem to have an expression of grief and panic. It's quite sad, really. And Boober seems to have too much face and not enough hair.
I watched it. I still enjoyed it, but I think that this year, I can better outweigh its pros and cons.
Pros:
- The performances were great all around. Even with the weak writing, the characters shined through.
- The music was enjoyable. My Best Christmas Yet and Delivering Christmas put a...
I'll take a Muppet appearance when I can get one, but this version of "I Believe" was just too pop-py for my tastes. I liked last year's version better. It just seemed more magical.
I thought that was handled in a funny way. I was wondering how they were going to pull those lyrics off in a Disney friendly way. I do see your point though that it might have just been to much screen time.
But I think that has to be my single favorite Animal moment in recent history.
That was totally and completely awesome. I can't remember the last time I was in stitches from beginning to end of a five minute sketch! Animal cracked me up, and so did Kermit and Scooter's appearance in the end. I figured that Kermit would show up at some point, but I was a little worried...
