I said Maryland because it's closer to Delaware. But that could even be hard for me right now.

I say Greenville, only because then the whole CITY can be on board. It'll be like Scranton and the Office Convention. If we hold it in a bigger city, it might just be another meh thing instead of having it in a small town, the whole city from the mayor to the street sweeper can be involved and proud and part of history.

Which Greenville? SC? I could do that, have family just over the border...

Anything SE US would work okay for me. Someplace I could conceivably wrangle a stay with relations out of. I guess it all depends on where the majority are.

My wallet says Chicago as it is closer and more likely I can go...but my heart says Greenvill Mississippi as that is where Jim Henson was born and I do believe the city would support the event as it celebrates a hometown hero

I would say your main options would be:
1. Do it in a large city that can attract more fans (NY, Chicago, Houston, Washington DC. etc)
2. Do it in Greenville or another Muppet associated place.

I really like the Muppet associated place idea a ton, and as Daniel said, the whole city can be on board.
