You could try HijackThis. It really goes deep into your computer, buuuuuut you do need to be a techie to understand it :/

Also, it shows things that arent always bad, and if you dont know what you are deleting, can mess up your computer even more. But there are websites you can copy and paste the scan log into to show you whats up (still be careful). I've heard this is what a lot of in store fixes use
Yeeeahh, that didn't help, because I didn't really understand it... and the things it did pick up during it's scan looked legit, so I wasn't sure if it found anything or not.

The guys at the shop feel the best thing for me to do would be to reinstall Windows (I guess I could try and upgrade, last summer when another virus warped my computer, upgrading actually helped remove the problem), otherwise, they say it's pretty much only a matter of time (like a few days) before my entire computer simply succumbs to the virus.
This thing must really have been rewritten very well, again, used to, a quick scan with Spybot - Search & Destroy nipped this thing in the bud whenever it struck, with no further problems whatsoever, but now, having to constantly manually close various malicious processes like ping.exe, strange iexplorer.exe processes, extra svchost.exe processes, and other weird processes that occasional popup like some kind of tHLSC~.com or something...

And now I have no sound//audio on my computer anymore, so now, I can't watch/listen to anything on YouTube, edit or record anything with Audacity, just about the only thing I can do is listen to something in Media Player.

Woo-hoo... :smirk:

I've been saying this for some time now... but WHY isn't anyone going after these virus programmers, especially when they have the know how to make unavoidable, unclosable pop up windows or site redirecting? Isn't that pretty close to cyber terrorism?

Seriously, we can jump the heck on people that violate copyrights or exchange child porn (quite rightly for the latter), but these virus programmers don't even face a day in jail. Not even get their internet permanently shut off and blacklisted?

I'm going to find out who's harassing me on DA and they will pay dearly.

Who do I go to for reporting Cyberbullying? Not on the site. They can't do squat about it. I want to see this pig behind bars.

Once again, here I sit, all broken-hearted, tried to... oh wait, I shouldn't recite that poem here... never mind... SAH-REE... :halo:

But in all seriousness, once again, it seems like everybody else on dA is being showered with point donations, and getting free premium memberships for donors and everything, meanwhile I've had my donation pool open for half a year now, and I STILL haven't received a single donation at all! The only points I've managed to accumulate are from randomass strangers who do point trades for llama badges, but these selfish greedy piggies are only willing to part with one or two measely points, brining my point total up to a whoppin' 8 points... hardly the amount needed for a premium membership without purchasing one with actual money. Not to mention, in my nearly four years on dA, I've only had a premium membership for two days: once when dA gave them away to people simply for watching their latest adcast video all the way through, and the other time when dA gave everybody a free premium membership here several weeks ago as a gift to members for their anniversary.

Yeah, that's all well and good, but again, what does a guy have to do to get some generous point donations on this website? If everybody else is getting generous donations, what makes me so unworthy? Some of these other artists do less on dA than I do, but I guess since they've been there longer in some cases, and have more watchers/friends and such, yeah...

I do not know how to donate points, otherwise I'd help you out. I'm not sure if I even can.

The sad thing is even points you have to actually purchase, just about the only thing you can get for free are those llama badges, everything else has a price...
But still, it seems like almost everybody on dA has like a clinical spending problem, because again, I see other artists receiving generous amount of point "donations", sometimes by the same people more than once, and points can be used as an alternate method to obtain a premium membership... and again, it seems like the rest of dA is getting all these generous point donations, getting premium memberships as "gift", etc, meanwhile here I sit with my donation pool on my profile as empty as Chester A. Bum's change cup, and my pool's been open for like half a year now...

Needless to say I'm a little bitter and resentful towards deviantART as a whole right now; I've made my profile page almost blank now, not really for sympathy donations or anything, but because that's just how I feel towards dA right now.
