Well, even You Tube clips often will constantly pause while they're playing, at least on my computer. My method of watching those is playing it through once without really watching or anything. Then replay it, since it's usually so much better the second time through. Forgive me if I'm repeating myself. I guess I said that before. Lol.

On YouTube the user can pause the clip and let it load. On Muppets.com you have to watch it all choppy first and allow it to excruciatingly ruin the joke and then rewatch, but it doesn't allow the pause-cache method. A lot of the Disney site bugs me that way. Their design team isn't considering the users the way they should.

This is what happens when the method they use doesn't allow the clip to cache properly. The same thing is true with Muppets.com. This is an effort to try to keep people from lifting the clips for their own use, but in the end it makes them almost unwatchable for the majority of people without the specific wi-fi connection condusive to the method. Disney's web people need to stop doing this and embed the clips like YouTube does.
That's what I hate about legal video sites. I understand they don't want people lifting them and everything, but they won't let you pause and do something else while it loads.

It gets downright terrible when they throw advertisements into the mix. I once watched an official website episode of South Park, and after watching the first part 3 times, I gave up.

That said, I didn't have all that problem watching the haunted Holidays page. though, I suppose it's some sort of conspiracy to make people buy Fios... :smirk:

You almost have to wonder if the muppets.com Bunson/Beaker Tech Support clip "Why...This...Takes...So......Long!" clip was the writers/performers' little "yeah - the tech issues with this site bug us too!"

OH also, did anyone go through all the freebies on the give a day site? I kept clicking on "site flair" and I got a different download able photo of 1st Miss Piggy, 2nd Gonzo, 3rd the Magic Kingdom Castle, 4th Fozzie (who looked weird), and then finally Kermit. Just wondering if anyone found different flair or wallpapers?

To answer this and to help people cut down on having to get Muppet flair randomly. These are the ones that I found...

Kermit

Fozzie

Gonzo

Rowlf

Miss Piggy

I've just been using the same address and plugging in Muppet names. If anyone finds any other characters that I miss let me know

Muppets

and it seems that they're now using the MUPPET STUDIOS instead of the MUPPETS STUDIO.

These latest clips are excellent, I see more classic Muppet magic in those two short clips than I did throughout my entire sitting watching Letter's to Santa, which was a move in the right direction but still felt like a kids movie to me, now these latest Muppet clips i'd consider family entertainment and not just something else to sit the kids in front of

Whoever is writting this is genius, it just feels so much like i was watching a sketch on the Muppet Show again. I started to feel like a huge Muppet fan again when i first saw those Muppet clips at Disney World, then the awsome clips re-introducing the Muppet monsters and now these. The Muppets after 13 years are finally back, the Muppets went downhill in my opinion after Muppet Treasure Island,I watched everything that came out after but i didn't feel the need to re-watch it over and over again as i usually did :sympathy:

I'm so glad i've returned to this board, I really need people to talk too now after i watch something to do with the Muppets, unlike before when for example after I watch Muppets`Wizard of Oz had nothing to say about the film, I was actually embaressed people who knew what a big muppet fan I was would get around to seeing it and think "are they such a big deal as he makes them out to be?":concern:

Okay seriously, they need to decide! Is it Muppets Studio or Muppet Studios! Hehe...I have clips of my announcer guy saying both just in case.
