This is a current poll that was on the internet, but before you click the link to see what the 'net poll was, participate in the poll here at MC.

It mocks the same poll that was online.

After you participate in the poll here, then click the link to see how the same characters fared on the original poll. Sorry, I don't have the link to the original poll source.

Well I would have picked Grover if he was on there, so I picked Big Bird instead. :wisdom:

It was a hard choice for me: Cookie, Big Bird, Oscar...

Oh, and gang, feel free to discuss the original poll that I posted a link to the picture of. It had some results that were interesting.

The results of the original poll definitely make sense to me; from what I've seen most people remember Cookie Monster and Oscar the most and very fondly. :insatiable: :grouchy:

I had to choose Cookie because he's always been quite funny and we both love cookies. I wanted to choose Big Bird because he's just so sweet and you can't help but love him, Oscar as well because you have to respect him for being blunt. I like Snuffy because he's always been a big teddy bear...erm, behemoth of a creature. And then, Elmo he's...so Elmo. He's adorable when he's not written too much into a show.

You know I wasn't that into Big Bird as a child, he was just the main character (if there was a main character back then). But lately seeing all of his separate DVDs again (China and Japan etc), I really enjoy how he can be so sweet one minute and then so frustrated and annoyed the next, hehe.

Big Bird really is a well-rounded character with a range of emotions. One of the other reasons I love him, so thanks for reminding me of that. Being that they don't use him that much anymore, it's kind of hard to recall very much.

So far it's looks like us Muppet Fans and the general public unanimously agree on Cookie.

Well like how in Big Bird in Japan, he's all frantic when they miss the tour bus and sort of freaks out:

"They have our plane tickets and everything! I don't even have hardly any money! Do you have any money? !

::Barkley shakes head::

"Oh of course not, you're a DOG!"

Lol, or in Big Bird in China when he thinks the drawings on the map make no sense:

"A wall...what a dumb picture..." Lol

I need to get the DVD of Big Bird in China. I have Japan.

Barkley was funny in those programs, too; another great character lost to the wayside of Big E.

Do you think the poll from that one website might have any effects on marketing the SS Muppets?
