...Chat.

I was thinking about when we used to have a Chatroom on MC, although I never really used it back then. And I thought it might be nice to have a place just to chat. Any subject, any one, any time.

I'd love to get to know some of you a lot better, and this might be a fun way to do it.

So...maybe I'll start us off by asking if anyone's tried the new "Squirrel" flavoured crisps that are being sold in the UK...and if anyone else is struggling to find a job, which I am at the moment.

Though I have an application for a nice place which I'm gunna fill in tomorrow.

Wow! Never knew this place used to have a chat room. I haven't been here that long and I'm sure you know that.

Anyway, yes, I am struggling to look for a job right now and I'm sure I'm not the only person right now (and I don't mean on this forum either). But only the strong survive, right?

Never heard of squirrel flavored crisp before. I hope that isn't real. :search:

It's real, alright. There's a huge search (aka. promotion :stick_out_tongue:) for the next big crisp flavour, and they have things like Squirrel, Chilli & Chocolate, even Breakfast flavoured at the moment!

What sort of job are you looking for at the moment Ilm?

Sheesh...I hope it's not just the strong that survive, or I might have to start back at the gym again :stick_out_tongue:

Squirrel-flavored crisps?
 I hope they're not planning on using real squirrels...
Well no, to be honest I think I'm the only bum around here that's not either employed or looking that seriously for a job...
 But seriously, I'm just conscintrating on school for the moment. I'm looking into getting some sort of a summer internship with this job recrutement program through my college. I'm supposed to e-mail the guy and have a phone interview with him tomorrow, so I guess then I'll know more. Good luck with your job hunts Beau and Will!
BTW Beau, something I've often wondered about you. Do people offline in your everyday call you Beau as well? No, I guess not, since then you'd have to explain to everyone where you got the nicname from. I don't know; it just always seemed like more than just a user name to me...

I have never even HEARD of such an oddly-flavoured crisp.... but I bet it tastes good!

Currently I'm not looking for a job because I'm going to school full time, but I will hopefully be getting one this summer.

Hey, Beau (sorry I haven't been on msn much ;_:wink:, nice to hear from ya!
I had nooo idea this site had a chat room, but I'm only a young'un, s'pose.
And naw, I haven't tried the Squirrel flavoured chips, are their real squirrels in 'em? What an odd concept!
I'm actually old enough to get a job, but I'm in no hurry. Most of my friends work at Maccas and KFC and the like, but it's not my cup of tea (prolly due to the fact that I lack in disapline when it comes to food, lol :embarrassed:), not now anyway. I might get one this year, but fer the time being I'll just concentrate on my studies at school.

Well, I must say I also hope that they arn't using real squirrels...If just for the fact that I don't want to see armed rangers running around all the local parks with butterfly nets trying to catch the illusive creatures. I'm guessing they have "squirrel flavourings".

I did once eat a squirrel though...freshly prepared by the local butcher. Just once, just to try it because it was so interesting to me that they were selling one.

For the record...gross.

FragglyMup! You're certainly not the only one just concentrating on school. In fact most of my friends here at uni don't have jobs at the moment and are fully happy with the fact!

I'm mainly trying to get one because the course that I am on only actually needs me to be in Uni for a few days and I just literally DIE of boredom when I'm not in! I'm a bit of a social-beast, and take work as a social situation :stick_out_tongue:

Beau, Beau, Beau. It's not my name, but when I first joined MC, I practically spent more time as Beau than I did as myself, and so I tend to almost think of myself as Beauregard more than my own name. At times. Is that totally weird? My real name's Matthew John, but at one point I started to use the name, "Mat B Regard" as a mixture of both my MC name/character and my real life. On MSN I still used the name Beauregard, and when I've met MC people in real life.

Missed you on MSN Kiki!

Right...I should get out of bed...

Speaking of Google...I do wonder how it was we ever managed without that kind of access to instant information. Literally anything I want to know, I can google. From crisp flavours, to music videos, to actors, or the meaning of words. Long gone are encyclopedias or dictionaries. Will our children even know how to use them?
