I just now realized I missed my own five-year anniversary of being a member of MC! That was TWO weeks ago!

Now I'm depressed because I had been planning on doing another retrospective thread! I guess I could still do that, but since I actually missed my own anniversary, it doesn't seem quite as poignant, or meanful now.

Cookies get their name not from how they are cooked, but what they are, cookie cames from the dutch word koekje, meaning little cake . I know this because I grew up in a mostly German family.

Anyhow..D'Snowth, I think you should make the topic^.^ After all you still have been here five years, that is a long time in internet years!

I think I might as well anyway... after all, I didn't plan on doing the full retrospective on just that day of August 8 anyway.

But still, I'm kind of upset that I actually DID miss the real deal.
