The Olympics is about unity, achievement and tradition. Yeah, it can get irritating when regular shows are bumped later, but it's a rare occasion for such a small inconvenience.
Olympians don't do this for the money. There's a lot more cash in the world to be made requiring a lot less work. I see the Olympics as all the world's rooms coming together in a common area. It's like the world's Christmas holiday where representatives have to meet up with one another and get along for a little while.
And, of course, there are the excellent athletic achievements. I have never understood curling, but these games don’t have that.
