How many tropical themed musical numbers were there on TMS? I am making a cd for a friend and I am putting mostly Caribbean, Hawaiian, etc. musical numbers from The Muppet Show. Please help me list as many as you can think of!

I can only think of:

Hawaiian War Chant
Cuento Le Gusta
The Pig Calypso
Lime in the Coconut

what others are there? I know there are alot.

I think there was also "I go to Rio" or whatever it's called as the opening number for the episode where the rest of the audience was joining in with Statler and Waldorf's hecklings all throughout the show. Although even the two old guys loved the guest star on that episode. Was she Diana Ross?

Yes indeed, that was Diana Ross, I can't think of any others, just the ones that have already been mentioned.

Oh, I love "Ukulele Lady."

And don't forget "The Banana Boat Song," with Harry Belafonte.

Well... You could include the Vet's Hospital sketch from the Sylvester Stallone episode, as Dr. Bob tends to one of the pigs from the Hawaiian War Chant musical number too.
There's also "Limbo Rock" from Muppet Beach Party.
Or you could sneak in Caribbean Amphibian and Coconut Counting Man from Sesame, which I could send you via Email.
And there's also "Tropical Heat Wave", a Marilyn Monroe-type musical number performed by Piggy and the Penguins from The Muppets Go to the Movies special.
Try searching for tropical musical numbers at Muppet Wiki though.

Hope this helps.

No one has mentioned Caribbean Amphibian from Sesame Street yet! That's a good one, there's a version out there with just Kermit and then there's one where he's joined by Jimmy Buffet.

Edit: Ok, just saw Ed's above post, I didn't notice it at first. Sorry!

I always thought Catch the Tail by the Tiger from Fraggle Rock also sounded calyspo like.

I just remembered one from Jim Henson Hour: "Sweet Vacation".

Hi... Another song you could add is "Tico Tico" sung by Annie Sue and the Pigs.
