I'm a little surfappointed, because it's coming out December 4th with none of the three Christmas specials... I mean, why have a Springtime Special as a bonus feature on a DVD that comes out before Winter even starts?

that aside, I do love the Smurfs!

yeah, I wish they were still on there... they still run two of the Christmas Specials every year.. "'Tis the Season to Be Smurfy" and "The Smurfs' Christmas Special" .. thankfully, I was lucky enough to record them with my DVD recorder last year

Oh my smurf! I'm so excited! I can't smurf for it to come out! (but no, I won't be smurfing up as a smurf anytime soon. The paint was a pain to smurf off!)

If they have as a bonus feature the Cartoon Network Smurfs promo (With Brainy bursting in the court room saying "I'm out of Smurf! You're out of Smurf. The whole smurfing systems out of smurf!") I'll be a happy dude.

Awww, I hate it when that happens! Sounds like a fun costume though!

I recently saw an article about this set at Earl Kress's blog, www.mynameisearlkress.com, and according to the blog, the show originally aired as an hour show, with two fiften-minute segments and one half-hour segment, but many of the half-hour ones were shown in multiple episodes, so the show is presented in a half-hour format.

All the time I try to dress up as this guy in the car and NO one gets it. Stupid perchant for the obscure.

Anyway...

Sounds almost exactly like what went on with Garfield and friends. The episodes on the DVD are in half hour incriments, but we get twice as many shows, so it balanced out.
