Google Directions

Someone alerted me to this bonehead error on google.

go to Google maps
http://maps.google.com/maps

Click on 'Get Directions' link

For start address, type in a United States City
for end address, type a city that is over seas.

Then click on the 'get directions' Button

You'll see the directions to get overseas along the left side.
Check out direction # 19

Comment how funny this is all you want, but don't give it away to folks who will want to know. It's real, and cracks me up.

I saw that a while ago, somebody posted that on another forum, and I thought that it was GREAT, somebody said NY, NY to Paris, France. and look at #22 or something like that. lol, it's just funny.

Well, I'm sure the fact that they are idiots and won't think "Wouldn't it just be easier to fly a plane" would help their cause. I think that somebody just thought of that one day, that they don't wanna sell anybody airplane tickets or anything, so how else are you gonna get there? That, and somebody must have a LOT of time on their hands to actually go and think "I wonder what'll happen if I start here, and end overseas?" Cause I doubt that people actually need instructions without going and getting an airplane ticket.

oddly enough, it wont calculate how to get from Denver, Colorado to Honolulu, Hawaii- says it cant

but it will get you from Denver to Paris, go fig
