Okay, so these are just two stories I have involving Richard Hunt that you might like:
I was watching The Muppet Movie while I was on the computer, and it was at the point where Miss Piggy was singing "Never Before, Never Again" and, naturally I began to sing along. About halfway through the song I realized that I had a picture of Richard Hunt (the same pic as my avatar) on the screen. LOL, it was as if I was singing a love song to one of my favorite puppeteers of all time.:flirt:

And also in one class, we were asked the question: If you could have a genuine autograph from anybody, who would it be? Of course my answer was Richard Hunt.

If I wasn't so worried about getting in trouble, I would so do that. Of course, my friends probably have no idea who Richard Hunt, Scooter, or Janice are. However, they'll probably find out who Beaker is, considering that we'll be doing "Muppet Labs Friday" in science class.:eek:
muppet lab friday? awesome! i wanna do that! try invention edable paperclips

well, my friends were screaming 'for [name of someone they admire]' what happend wasn't so bad, i didn't get in trouble, the vice pricipals were comming to get us and all but three of my friends ran. one of them wanted to soak the v.p. [and did] they got detention for a month and they're parents were called in.

oh, and that story about your avatar's so sweet. i think i'd choose richard for an autograph too. but given the chance, i'd prefet to hang with him for an hour.

Actually, for Muppet Lab Friday, our teacher just shows us those clips from TMS, but your idea sounds much cooler. Of course, then the teacher might make us write a lab report on it :stick_out_tongue::eek:

Btw you know the scene in Muppet Movie where Gonzo first goes up with the balloons and Fozzie taps on Kermit's shoulder? If you watch that scene in letterbox format (I believe), for a second you can see Richard off to the side performing Fozzie's arm. Seriously! Lol

I think I read somwhere that was an even clearer shot of him just after the Can You Picture That Scene but it's been subsequently fixed in later editions of the film (must have been really obvious lol).

I doubt that this is what you're talking about, but it could be. I didn't really find it that obvious, but during that song, look right in between Scooter and Janice during that song on the line "Can you picture? You gotta see it in your mind!" and you can somewhat see somebody's hair.

I'll check for that (it's fun playing spot the Muppeteer lol). But yeah that's not what I've read about, I believe it's supposed to have just after the song when they're outside looking at Kermit and Fozzie in the car.

With school security being what it is, Nekoshema, I'm amazed you guys were even able to get the water guns into school in the first place!

But, yeah, the water fight is oddly appropriate - Terry Angus told one story about how, early on in Fraggle Rock's run, Richard would go around the set zapping people with a water pistol, all the while having this evil grin on his face. The full story's on the Articles page - but during a break, they all got Richard back with a garden hose. "He was soaked!"

That's a really sweet story, Gelfling Girl - and I like how you phrased it - singing a love song to one of your favorite Muppeteers of all time. I've had a few moments like that from time to time.

It's a shame that they went back and edited out some of the shots where the Muppeteers were visible - but in "Jim Henson: The Works," there's a behind-the-scenes photo of the guys doing the scene with Kermit and Fozzie in the newly-painted Studebaker. There's a group of puppeteers, including Richard with Scooter, lying on the ground in front of the car. In it, he's wearing a pair of blue running shorts, his Adidas and his microphone headband, so it was definitely warm out that day.

Yeah and I'm pretty sure that's the scene they were talking about, where the puppeteers were really visible. I can understand of course why they'd want to clean it up, but so many years later, it would be nice to see! As a child I probably wouldn't have quite understood what I was seeing, lol. Or I probably would have reasoned that the puppeteer was supposed to be in the shot!

Hello again everybody.

I've just recently finished reading Harry Potter entirely. So now I can say I've fully read the fantasy trilogy in my current signature. Isn't that great? :excited:
