Yeah...as Don Reardon said in "Quilting with the Muppets," "We shared the belief that good-natured teasing was an act of love - we teased each other a lot!"

Sure, Richard could be loud and brash, and maybe a little too direct at times, but I sincerely believe that whenever a puppeteer or guest star was having a personal crisis, Richard would be the first person to offer his shoulder to cry on.

It's like the story of the woman sitting in her car by the duck pond. Most people probably would have driven by without a thought...but Richard stopped to see what was wrong. And that made all the difference for her.

Well I always think of the saying from the musical Into the Woods, "nice is different than good." I've had some teachers who were very blunt and at times hard to live with, but also very supportive and helpful. You needed to learn how to translate so to speak, hehe.

By the same token, seemingly very nice teachers would sometimes end up abandoning you in the end, heh.

Nice new signature, MN! Muppets Go to the Movies is still one of my favorites.

Hey guys. This wedding. Oh. My. Richard. Hunt. It is HARD planning something like this, espically when you have Future Mother-In-Law from heck on your butt, and your own mother just about as bad from the other direction. Oh, but it gets better!

NEITHER OF THEM CAN AGREE ON ANYTHING.

And they are both "bulldog" personalities. My M-I-L is pretty much like Miss Piggy, only a touch more unpredictable. My own mother is more the quiet, yet still I'll smak you crossways Miss Piggy.

I've gotten my dress, and two out of four bridesmaids have purchased their dresses. We've got the church, the hall, the DJ, arrangements for the cake. We haven't gotten the other half of my ring set yet, neither have we gotten his ring yet. Catering for the reception is okay, but we've gotta wait till after some kind of school testing for the caterer to be done. (she was my Culinary Arts teacher in high school, and she does catering too)

If I offer a general invite here, Ill also have to request that you guys specify weather you'll have "Herbed Baked Chicken" or "Sliced Roast Beef"

Erin, although you didn't know; you've done quite well as the Co-President of The RHLC! Thank you so much. You and Ed have done well for this club.

To all of the members in this club, I thank you. I may not be around much till after my wedding, which is on June 27th, at 3pm. Which is about 4 months away. Oh joy and rapture.

Love you guys.

Thanks, heralde - like I said a while back, I was stifling quite a few laughs when I took in 'Muppets Go to the Movies.' And I'll bet Scooter, and by extension, Richard, relished getting to say, "No, you're the stupid one" to Link.

Hi, Sara, nice to see you back. And you're right; I didn't know I was co-president of the RHLC. But we've been keeping it afloat, as you can see.

Sounds like you're having quite a time of it, with the wedding prep and everything. And your mother and your mother-in-law elect are at each other's throats...(shudders visibly)

Oh, well, on my parents' wedding day, there was another couple tying up the church when my parents' ceremony was supposed to start. And my mother, hardly the image of the stereotypical blushing bride, was outside in the car cursing at the other couple to hurry it up already.

Again, take care and stay in touch!

Heh... You already have my blessings Sara. *Check your PM box when you can. *Snatches a Boston cream doughnut and departs mysteriously. Oh, there might be a new club opening soon. :batty: ;()

Where in South Carolina can you friggin purchase "Violet Crumble"? It's an Australian candy bar, and World Market hasn't carried it in close to...maybe 6 months now? I'm going crazy wanting one! I got a "Crunchie" which is a Cadbury brand candy, not Nestle brand.

I ain't that fond of 'em. It's just not as tasty it seems. Can anyone help me out with my search?

Let's see, Violet Crumble...well, not too far from where I live, there's a shop that specializes in British foods - especially tea and sweets. I know Violet Crumble's an Australian import, but they might have it.
Barring that, there's probably a place in New York that carries it - want me to check for you?

Anybody red the Joey Mazzarino interview on tough pigs yet? Here's what he had to say about Richard Hunt.

So I was watching those guys work, especially Richard Hunt. I think Richard was doing a butler, and he had the puppet’s hands behind his back and he was really very funny, but the stuff he was saying off camera was even funnier, he was cracking the crew up. And I just said, “I want to be that guy!"
