Good. But I should ask, have you voted for us yet Will?
And I'll take this opportunity to wish you the merriest of birthdays. Hope it turns out to be a great one as you celebrate with friends and family, both online and offline. Blow out the candles and make a wish!
Happy B-Day William.
Thank you so much ED! I'm not sure. I
ve voted on the little pool tha Fozzie put up.

Oh yeah cool! I'm glad I replied to you, Skye!(well I would have been glad anyway of course Hehe).

Ohh, very cool '90s sketch with The Two Headed Monster! Interesting how Jerry and Richard are sort of in the head-master roles while Kevin and Marty (Elmo and Telly) play the students. (Btw, this is the Elmo I DON'T mind. )

That was such a great clip!

By the way, I jst wanted to let everyone here know that Caroline Got me the Sesame Street Old School DVD, and it is just so awsome! (Thank you so much sweetie!) But me and My brother were both whatching it and having such a great time, and my borther was commenting about how Jerry Nelson has such an unholy vocal range, hehe! It's just not right, haha!

Unholy vocal range? Well, I'd have chosen a different adjective, but I see the point. I mean, one moment he's doing Robin the Frog, and the next he's doing Pa Gorg and the Fire Mask. And in between, he's got Floyd, Gobo, Lewis Kazagger, the Count, Sherlock Hemlock...

Same with Richard. He's got Beaker at one end, Statler and Sweetums at the other, and Scooter, Janice, Beige Fraggle, Junior Gorg, Forgetful Jones and all the others in the middle.

But he does have an incredible voice range, though! All the accents and dialects, he's really an amazing preformer!

Aww, you're welcome! I'm so glad you like it, honey!
Seriously! I totally have to agree with you and your brother. Jerry's voice and his range is incredible. I always love listening to him sing and seeing what he'll do next and how he'll do it. The things he can do with his voice are so awesome. He's always fun to listen to!

Ugh, finally! I apparently typed my password wrong too many times and was locked out for what seemed like forever! It said only 15 minutes, maybe it kept me out because I was trying again too soon. ::shrugs::

I was like, how will I live without my RHLC postings?!!!!

Anyway, yes I really enjoy Jerry's voice too. :sing:

Uh-oh! Well glad you could get in here. I think that's why I almost always do the "Remember Me" button... it would drive me nuts having to sign in all the time, lol! :stick_out_tongue:

It's so awesome how many of our Muppeteers have such great singing voices. It makes some episodes even more fun to watch when they have a cute, fun little song in it (at least for me, hehe)!

Why yes; Jerry is tops! Honestly, I love Richard, but Jerry Nelson is my true alltime favorite!
:smirk: No offense to the big RH, of course.
Oh Heralde, isn't that "fifteen minutes" such a lonely feeling?
Anywho, the reason I'm here is to ask Erin if she still has a picture of the quilt pannel she made for Richard on her computer. I'm doing this paper and presentation on AIDS next week, and I'd like to show it if it's alright. Also Mariane, I know I haven't seen you here in a while, so if I don't get a response from you here then I'll PM or e-mail you. Do you still have that picture of Richard? You know. The one that you cut out of that extremely rare book, that you probably borrowed from a library, thus making you some sort of minor criminal I think? Yeah, that one!
:stick_out_tongue:
 If so, could you please scan it and send it to me? Thanks. Otherwise, I know there aren't many good pictures of Richard, (at least where you can see most of him), so if there are any could someone please point me in the direction of one?
Only one more thing, I promise! I know there has been at least one or two good obituaries posted here already? Could someone just point out to me where in this gigantic thread they are?

Well, I think that most of Richard's songs and the way he sang them... it was based on just being crazy and having fun (because ya know, that's so different from his personality!) while Jerry's vocals are more melodic and naturally classic, which is why I think many people prefer him and put him on the top of their list of favorite Muppeteer singers. Not to mention (though... we already did of course, lol) the incredible range that Jerry has always showed off and demonstrated so perfectly. And Richard had a great range too, but I do think Jerry has a little more of one. So yeah, that does make a lot of sense!

Now about your request... I don't think I'm a good person to answer that, hehe. But I hope someone else can help you out! I'm honestly not sure where they are. This thread has gotten pretty massive, which is awesome! But I really hope you can track down what you're looking for!

Thanks. Oh, when it comes to singing I do prefer Richard. When it comes to characters and certain personality traits though, Jerry just has a bit of an edge. Does that make sense?

Yes, it does. And they've both got glorious voices either way.

And sure, Kate, I'd be glad to send you a photo of Richard's quilt! I've got a couple of photos saved somewhere on my hard drive, so if you could give me an e-mail address or something, I'll pick one out and wire it along. And I hope the presentation goes well.

As for the obits...there's a really nice one on page 201.
