The problem I have is that they don't want to caption these episodes. It would be best if they did.
Yeah, that I don't understand. Especially given that most of the episodes uploaded are the HBO Max versions, so they could just reuse the captions from there. Tubi used those same captions too, so they should have those files in their possession.

In fact, they've done that with the uploads of full episodes on their regular channel, so I don't see much of the reason they couldn't do it on their classics channel.

I noticed that, near the end of the episode that was uploaded yesterday, David works for Hooper's Store. Was he just an employee there at the time, and after Mr. Hooper's death was revealed to the viewers on Episode 1839, did David actually get promoted to the merchant position? If so, did he get promoted by Mr. Hooper because his health was in decline and that wasn't revealed on the show?

I'd like to ask, with Mr. Hooper, David, and Mr. Handford no longer with us, what characters took over the merchant position after Mr. Handford?

I barely even watch the newer episodes of the show, so really I guess Alan is the main person running the store.
