Ever since last year, my computer has been having problems. It freezes, doesn't respond, and even stops working. It just drives me up a wall and the problems happen every single day. I just simply don't know what to do about all of the problems. What should I do?

Did you run a virus scan?

You can always try calling the company the computer's from for repairs, or just call a computer repairman.

1) I'd start by running a good viru scan.

2) Download and run CCCleaner

3) Then download Malwarebytes and run a scan:

4) Finally download and run Spybot Search & Destroy

That should make sure there isn't any malware, spyware or viruses slowing it down.
Thank you.

Thank you.
Good luck.

If it is a virus some of them can be very stubborn. My Mom's computer had a virus about a year ago. Never could get rid of it despite many scans. It would find them and get rid of them only to have the virus come back. It was time to replace the computer anyway so we just ended up replacing it.

If you end up taking it in for service take it to a small private computer repair shop. They are more reasonably priced. I wouldn't recommend Geek squad at Best Buy. They are ridiculously expensive and not that good.
