What's with the Snowth ears? Do they also have painted-over Mickey ears, or are their ears actually shaped like horns?

Anyone else notice the Merdlidop in Kermit's ear?

At first I thought they were the male and female Koozebanians. And then I thought they were just generic happy and sad faces.

I think the snowth's horns are just painted mickey ears I think because of the white behind the figures is making it more hard to see the snowths mickey ears but they will be there
