Toodles the Horse!

Howdy howdy, folks! Today I'm proud to unveil my first ever original puppet character: Toodles the Horse! Yes indeed, he's the "Toodles" being referred to in "Toodles Team!" Toodles has been my signature character for over a decade, but as I've drifted away from drawing comics and such in recent years, he's sort of faded into the background. But now he's back as a live-hand puppet!

And here he is compared to how his cartoon counterpart looks:

Toodles draws influence from a number of different Muppets, most notably Fozzie and Gonzo, but I actually tried very hard to break away from the traditional Muppet aesthetic as much as I could. I really wanted to make sure Toodles didn't just look like a wannabe Muppet, but a unique custom creation! And I'm quite pleased with the results!

I was a big fan of Scooby Doo way back in the day, so it's likely that Toodles has a little Scooby in him!
