Lips not appearing in every group scene in GMC more than likely had to do with the fact that there probably weren't enough Muppet performers on the set in order to get every character in every shot.
Don't know if this has been posted on here yet, but here's a very funny parody of Sesame Street mixing Global Grover with the classic Kermit and Grover skits.

The two guys performing Grover and Kermit in this video did an excellent job!
This picture isn't anything spectacular, but I thoud I'd link it anyway. A picture of Segel with Walter towards the bottom. http://jaymckinnon.com/blog/movies/the-rundown-ep-4
I know I'm being totally nit-picky here, but the show was actually called "Muppets (with a plural), Babies, and Monsters". People tend to leave out the plural for this particular title because the theme song sounds so similar to the one for "Muppet (without the plural) Babies". Just thought I'd...
On a youtube clip featuring Alice Cooper's apperance on the Muppet Show, several people in the comments continued to insist that the Muppets were strictly for the kiddies, therefore making Cooper too 'adult' to be on the show. And of course, there were the usual comments from people who got the...
I agree that Nick probably doesn't care about the Muppets anymore (then again, they really don't care about anything these days except money).
But when I was referring to the whole Disney owning the Muppets thing, I didn't mean that that was why Nick took the Muppets off. I mean't that that is...
Also keep in mind that Nickelodeon once cared about the Muppets (even though Nick's airings typically were edited). Then again, Nick's current 'lack of Muppets' probably has to do with Disney's ownership. But at least Disney cares about the Muppets!
At one point in the montage of events where the muppets go looking for Kermit, they are seen rehearsing for the upcoming show. It appears that Rizzo was supposed to be Kermit's temporary replacement, at least in rehearsals.
But I always wondered how in the world the muppets understood a word...
I'm guessing the performers were all under the floor, performing them as normal hand puppets; the puppets could hide the performer's arm when fully shown.

I see they did an almost exact copy of the John Denver version. Nice to see that again! And poor Fozzie still can't remember his line! Robin's voice kind of bothered me, but otherwise, great to see!
I didn't see Bean Bunny. I don't think he was in this one.
Anyway, this video was just epic! Hopefully, the movie will be like this.
Is it just me or does Sam look like he did during the first season? And what's with the new Gonzo puppet? His eyes look kind of weird.
