i apologize if this has been hashed over once or twice already..

i stumbled across a vince collins animation from 1976 on a dvd called "the educational archives: patriotism". the cartoon is kind of a lysergic rave-up commisioned by the government of the united states to celebrate the bicentennial. flashing hambugers and televisions spiral comically out of a psychedelic cornocopia in one scene. god bless this mess.

anyway, i knew vince did something for imagination inc many years ago, birds turning into something, my memory is failing, an thought nostalgia hounds here might be interested in seeing similar work by collins.

the dvd series is remarkable as well, and well worth the purchase. another volume, "on the job" features a educational film explaining the importance of 'work' to children. 10 minutes of wobbly memories and some electric piano from the early 70's, and very sesame street.

ok thanks. great forum here, i'm excited to contribute to the mania.
