Hi there, I am appointed to organize a farewell party for our leaving conductor of the choir that I join.
I just registered hoping to find a video with some help from Sesame specialists for a funny idea that I have where one of our choir members wil do an impression of our conductor using a video of sesame street as an example.

I am looking for a classic video (probably released in the seventies or eighties) with 3, 4 or 5 puppets (including the puppet "Big Blue*") is doing an a capella with various sounds (no lyrics).First you here the lower sound melody from The puppet Big Blue starts with the bass sound (pom, pom,pom,pom....) than about 15 seconds later I believe the soprano sound joins and again and again till there is in total of 3, 4 or 5 sounds completing this funny sounding song of sounds and phases out the same way it started, ending with the bass.

Hope some of you can help me out on this. They gave me the ultimatum of three days from now. Thanks in advance...

Roy

Hi and welcome to the forum.

A few things to point out. It sounds like you're looking for a video of the song "Clink, Clank" from the earlier seasons of the show. I don't have the video myself, but in the future you'll get better results from other forum members who can provide said videoclips if you can state what you're looking for by its title.
Also, if I'm correct given the lable of "Big Blue" and off of my knowledge plus visual handicap, it sounds like you're refering to the stock pattern character type of "Fat Blue" instead, the most notorious character known as such is Mr. Johnson, Grover's urstwile put-upon customer.

Hope this helps and have a good time exploring everything this forum has to offer. :wisdom:

Hi Count, thanks for your effort and advise and your hospitality.
Unfortunately I don't have a title of this video. I only remember some of the sounds and that Mr. Johnson started and ended the song. This vocal piece of art is not from my favorite characters Bert and Ernie. Thank you for letting me know about mr. Johnson. I did not know his name and I found this when I searched for his name. The a-capella song that I am looking for has no lyrics. only voices that pretend some sort of instrument.

Have a great day and thanks for trying :jim:🙏

Thanks a lot folks for your efforts. I just found the tune. 🤩
In my memory it was with Mr. Johnson, guess I was confused.
