Even though I didn't love "The Muppets" series, as a fanfic writer, I appreciated the notion of what goes on in characters' lives outside of the show. So with that said, what's the deal with the Snowths?
Given that the original sketch was with 2 little girl Anything Muppets, then presumably in the late 1960s mentality of "pink/long eyelashes/high voices = girls", the Snowths were intended to be girls. Are they sisters? Cousins? Not related? They dance together in the Carol Burnett episode, and were depicted kissing on a Muppet valentine; are they a couple?
Are there other Snowths? If so, are they all pink, or are male Snowths another color? Maybe there are no males in their species and they come from a place like the Isle of Sappho or Wonder Woman's Amazon Island.
They're sometimes depicted among Koozebanians; do they come from the planet Koozebane, or is that just where they have their timeshare?
They seem to care about each other -- in the Muppet Show special when Big Mean Carl eats one behind the other's back, she spends the next backstage scene wandering in search of her. Because they look like cows with pink cotton candy fur, do you suppose BMC found them to taste like candied beef?
Let the fan theories commence.
