dmoss: No, I'm not worried. I certainly had to use it, for the challenge to make any sense, and I'd already warned the Comedy Central people, so if they wanted to stop me, they had ample opportunity (and their legal department responds FAST -- when someone asked if I could build them a Colbert puppet for money, and I asked the person I know at the Report, the lawyers got back immediately [with a negative]).

As for the success of the challenge, my fingers are crossed. I can't imagine he'll get on dotBoom, but if he's willing to have me on to give him the puppet, I'll consider it a big success.

Also, if he goes for it, and I get their attention, I have ideas of things to do with the puppet, on the Report, that could be pretty awesome. So I'm prepared for any eventuality.
