Do any of you remember the episode where Shari Lewis and Lambchop visit Sesame Street? I vaguely remember but there was a song that they sang. What was it? Was it a version of "How Do You Do"?

It was a season finale (not sure which one). During the episode, they were trying to make a Muppet pig (Louise Gold) feel better about herself.

Shari did sing "How Do You Do?" to Lamb Chop. The pig also sang "Pigs' Love Song" (and tap-danced).

Yeah, because wasn't Lambchop scared about meeting new people so Shari sang her the song to teach her how to not be so shy.

My Sociology Teacher in college said that Shari Lewis worked in a pet store/vet's office (one of the two) and ended up killing her pet (I think it was a bird).

Well, that's what I heard.

Yes I do remember this episode. It was the Season 27 finale, and it was episode #3525. I remember the pig didn't feel good about herself, and Big Bird, Shari, and Lamb Chop sang this beautiful song called "Perfect As a Pig." And I remember at the end of each verse, this children's choir out of nowhere sang the last line of each verse.

I also heard that Shari Lewis was once an adult comic.

I think, a comedienne for adults, as opposed to being a children's entertainer, as most of us know Shari Lewis to be.

I remember back in the 70's, Shari had her own show called The Shari Show. Shari worked in a TV station ran by puppets. There were characters like Lamb Chop, Mr. Bearly, Grizzly, Lionel, Dandylion, Brooklyn, Honey Child, Clip Clop the Donkey, Neville the Devil, Auntie Artica, Baby Doll, Lolly, Bugaboo, and Captain Person the Kangaroo. There were so many characters on that show, I can't name them all. And Shari provided the voices for all those characters.
