Episode 1446 - Big Bird Goes to School
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Big Bird goes to school with Kathy for Visitors Day! Big Bird is nervous at first, but with the help of Mr. Hooper and Maria, Bird is able to get ready in time to catch the bus with Kathy. In school, Big Bird meets Kathy's teacher Mrs. Murkel and joins her class. In the class, Big Bird learns that he has to raise his hand in order to be called on for answers, and that you can count to numbers higher than 10! Bird also learns all about recess. And during recess, he is able to make new friends by introducing himself to other kids and asking for their names. Finally, upon returning to Sesame Street, Big Bird tells Maria about all the fun things he did and learned in school.
