I'm so sad to learn that Phyllis George has passed away too soon. She was quite lovely in her Muppet Show episode. Here are a few highlights:

Sources are now reporting that sportscaster, businesswoman, and Miss America Phyllis George has died. With this passing comes a sad milestone: if I'm counting correctly, this means that half the celebrity guests on the Muppet Show are now deceased.
From what I've read, she died from a blood disorder.

She died on May 14th.
