I was not planning to make another post on this forum anytime soon, but I have just learned that Britt Allcroft had sadly passed away, and I want to share my thoughts about it.
I will always have respect and gratefulness towards Britt Allcroft for her work on Thomas & Friends, and also Thomas & The Magic Railroad, even if I do not agree with some of her actions and creative decisions.
I do offer my condolences to her family, and may she rest in peace.

I’m not a fan of some of the business decisions she made for the show (cancelling midway production of what would have been Donald and Douglas’s original, and more proper, episode introduction “The Missing Coach,” especially since season 2 is my favorite season of the Britt Allcroft era and it shames me to see so much wasted footage there, is not something I’m forgiving on there), but man, I didn’t need to see this at the start of 2025. May she RIP 😞

As part of an ongoing project I’m working on, and one I’ve been working on since February 2022 (mainly just originally starting off as a one-time idea that sparked into a massively bigger project with more ideas coming into mind over time), I made a Thomas music video spoof of the classic 80s pop ballad “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds from one of my favorite 80s teen comedy-drama flicks “The Breakfast Club” using the first two seasons in their unrestored prints to give it their full 80s vibe in memory of Britt and everything she’s done for Thomas during her time.

Thank you, Britt, and may you R.I.P
