Sorry, you guys have kind of been hand in hand as of late.

anyhoo, this picture sums up why we need the electoral college.

the states in blue have nothing to do with democrats, they are states with less population than Los Angeles country (in red). Any of these states, which are their own sovereign government, can be drowned out by that one county.

Basically, go back just 20 years when Hugo Chavez brought Socialism to Venezuela, and see how that worked out.
At least when I pointed out things from the left, I'd specifically quote Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer . I wouldn't lump all Democrats together, because some actually lean to the right. Some Republicans lean left as well. But the ones that get the media attention are the ones that lean to. extremes.

Basically, go back just 20 years when Hugo Chavez brought Socialism to Venezuela, and see how that worked out.

Or, look at when FDR brought Socialism to America, and see how the country thrived, so much so that the people loved him enough to elect him four times, hence why we now have term limits.
