As far as ballerinas that look like Big Bird,go, you don’t want Mayor DeBlasio in politics anymore.

Hoo-boy! A big day for more GOP dumbfuckery!

First, they're fabricating yet another fake war on a holiday, only this time instead of their phony war on Christmas, they're saying "Juneteenth" is a war on the 4th of July (and also another threat to America's whiteness).

Second, they're upset that Biden apparently is maintaining diplomatic relations with Putin . . . y'know, the Russian guy who Trump was practically sleeping with and they were happy about it, while claiming Trump getting America on friendly terms with Russia was one of the best things he ever did for our country?

Oooh really now? The proposal to make Juneteenth Day a national holiday passed with overwhelmingly bipartisan support. What world do you live in?

As far as Juneteenth goes, it was voted in overwhelmingly in a 415 to 14 vote. Not sure why Snowth wants to amplify the voice of that 3% that voted against it but it's a very small minority. When even people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Josh Hawley voted in favor than there's really no point to care what fringe groups have to say. To put it into perspective, 21% voted against making MLK Day a federal holiday back in 1983 (338-90 vote)

I'm definitely for Juneteenth being a federal holiday but at the end of the day it just feels like more empty pandering. It'll help line the pockets of corporations who will use this as an excuse to churn out merchandise more than it will help the average Black person.
