Aw, couldn't you just cry.

So...uh...my website that I've had for about five years is no more. It seems my brother-in-law, who had it all on his server, somehow deleted it and all of its content and the back up, along with three other sites that went through him.

Great.

Uh...so I'm gonna go cry now.

Not that it was anything really fancy-schmancy, but well, Wil Wheaton visited, and he liked it. And that senator Smiley Garcia from Texas. And Michael Jantze who draws "The Norm." And...some of you guys.

On the plus side, I DID want to re-do the whole darn site anyway, but I wanted to do it a piece at a time, and do it sometime next summer after graduation. Not re-take pictures of 741 Fisher Price Little People and re-scan the cartoons and Rubber Duckie's photo albums and...

Aw, shoot.

Sorry to hear this... But these things could happen, that´s why it´s handy to make a backup at a disk.... I did it (don´t know if it really works) But next time I hope you do too. Are you make an other website, because I enjoyed yours.
You still have them pictures right?

Yes, I could just cry. I'm so sorry to hear that Quinn. I know you've worked really hard, and I know that I enjoyed visiting your site quite often. But I guess that's enough crying. It's time for you to build a bigger and better site. One that goes the distance, my man. One that takes the cake, puts the icing on the cake and eats the cake! Get out there and just do it! Reach for the stars! Make your Rubber Duckie and Wil Wheaton proud!

This is terrible, i feel that Rubber Duckie should be wearing a black beakband in memory of the great Quinnarama.com or something, but yes Quinn, a bigger, enhanced site will showcase your schmoo much better - build it and we will come !!!

I'm sorry to hear that. I know what time it takes to do a website. Mine isn't anything spectacular but it was more work than I thought it would be.

But you'll get another one and it'll be bigger and better than before......we'll be patiently waiting for it's unveiling......

Thanks for the sympathy guys--you know that's what I was fishing for!

:flirt:

I was planning on rephotographing all of the Fisher Price Little People next spring after graduation anyway with a digital camera--some of those pics were REALLY bad.

And about the back-up--well, I just got a new computer two weeks ago, we had transferred everything over to my bro-in-laws stuff until the new computer was fully up and running, and I didn't have anything on external disks...

Well, let's just say that'll teach me.

And it will be rebuilt. Better, stronger, faster.

I'll have to put up some kinda "Under Contruction" page.

*sigh*

I'm over it.

Now I'm in the part where I'm excited to see what I can do with the new site.

Melissa's gonna kill me.

:halo:
