Hey all,

Do any of you know of any good/recommendable puppet expos/conferences? I'd like to expose myself to more fo the industry, and that seems as good a way as any.

Thanks!

Brian,

I don't know of any specific puppet expos. For the most part, the puppeteer community has "festivals" because they're based around preformances. These are usually insider events mostly attended by locals and other puppeteers. I have heard of a few of them having tables, similar to an expo floor, where people sell puppets or teach workshops.

I love your Dot Boom stuff, so I'm assuming you'd want to aim for an adult audience. The last link for Puppet Slams are usually in theaters that serve alochol and cater to adult humor. They're usually seasonal events held at various theaters.

In case you're looking for exposure outside of the puppet realm and into general entertainment. These are a few options...
