If you're like me you waste about 1/3 of your Plasti Dip (because it dries) before you can use it all up. I've tried various methods and found trying to air proof it with a bag works well. Unfortunately, I found the bag I used on my last container had a little hole...thus, when I went to use the plasti dip again, the stuff was on the verge of harding up...
Oddly enough my fiance was cleaning and taking inventory of some camping gear....
I just noticed on the side of the camp fuel stated Naptha fuel- crazy! Naptha is the stuff you use to thin Plasti Dip.
I used the camp fuel (just about a tablespoon) to thin up the Plasti Dip. It worked great! Canadian Tire sells it here for about $10. Naptha minerial liquid costs way more. I check ed with the paint store I use to work at and my old wise boss informed me it'll work just as well- but the fuel will evaporate faster... Try it sometime. Naptha is the only thing that'll thin it out...and don't worry about your Plasti Dip spontaniously combusting- if you store it like you should it'll be fine.
