There was this TV show (produced by Sid and Marty Krofft) that came out in around the late '80's or so. It featured puppet versions of celebrities (Bill Cosby, Bette Midler, etc.), but I can't remember the name of it. Can anyone help me?

D.C. Follies

Set in a Washington D.C. bar, Fred Willard was the bartender, and the patrons were all Krofft Puppets, including former USA Presidents Reagan, Carter, Ford, and Nixon, and news reporters Dan Rather and Ted Koppel.

yeah... Phil Collins (Genesis) did a music video in this style also...
AND... ...
'Spitting Image' was the UK versionthat came before 'D.C. Follies'

Those puppets really freaked me out as a kid, but they were truely fascinating
