How do you like this?

Well one of my muppet/puppet film ideas,is to make at least a 15 to 30 min. episode of,Sesame Street.Of course its going to be my own version,but I was thinking of building similar muppet-type-puppets.A few of them might be like,Ernie & Bert,and Oscar.Also at least 3 anything-type puppets.

The two muppet songs I'm thinking of using is Air by:Mahna Mahna,and Six by:Bert.The oldies/hippies song I'm thinking of using is Hair by:The Cowsills.
I'll probrabily start work on this the end of this summer,or next school year.

you have been posting alot about doing "muppet/fraggle/sesamestreet " type filem, why not devote some of the energy towards doing something of your own creation, might be better in the long run, you may even get somewhere by doing something original, just thought, not a slam,

I'm really sorry ravagefrackle.I know I'm doing this,but I have all these muppet or puppet ideas all built up in me,and I've wanted to get them out all in the open.These film ideas that I've planned,are so I can get more puppeteering practice or use them to help me with maybe getting a puppetry job someday.Most puppet ideas that I've thought of since I started,have most of the time gone back to Jim Henson or some of his puppetry ways.I've thought of my own puppets,but Jim has always been the kind of the person I would like to become in 10 to 20 yrs from now.I hope you understand.

good luck with what ever you do, i understand wanting to get your ideas out thier for all to see, just thought it might be benifical for you to do it with your own characters and such, it might bring you closer to acheiving the level of success that Jim had, he was if anything someone who would encourage inovation, and experimintaion, who knows your ideas might translate well with yor own charecters in the spot light ,and get you noticed,

Thankyou,I just wanted you to know at first,that I'm not trying to copy Jim's
ideas.For about 3 yrs. now I've been making 15 min. films using my own puppets.Where they're lip synching to some popular songs or oldies music.But the reason I've been using these muppet ideas,is so I can use my puppets(most of the time) to do similar type of film projects.Of course I'm not going to sell them,or put them up on the web,I've just been using them for my own entertainment.And to help me learn from my mistakes,so I can become a better puppeteer for the future.But again, thankyou for wishing me good luck,and giving me some great advice.It really helps to get nice compliments,or good advice from you guys.

Here's an update on that project.Right now I'm not sure whether I'm going to cancel the idea or not.Instead of having copyrighted Muppet characters,I'm probrablly going to have 1 or 2 monsters & a couple puppet blanks or just my puppets.
