Heya All
Im currently in the middle of making a kermit the frog.

I have the Foam / Eyes just waiting on antron and felt at the moment in time.

Ive attached some links to my Kermit head any suggestions to improve it would be welcome. I want to get my kermit to be able to do the face movements and how he scrunched up mouth /face too...

Also im currently making his body im guessing this would be made via 4 pieces of foam in and made almost like a juggling ball...

Again help welcome!

PLEASE NOTE IM VERY NEW TO PUPPET BUILDING SO I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN!

CHEERS!

KERMIT HEAD (please note if its a pile of crap im happy to start from scratch so ides welcome! )

There is no foam in Kermit's head. The scrunchie movements are achieved by the hand just filling out the fleece and a soft mouthpiece, like thin leather.Only his body, arms, and legs are padded.

Soft leather, as I mentioned. Some people use cardboard, but this doesnt last, particularly when your hand sweats.you could also try a soft vinyl or even a Lino(floor covering) or a thick apolstry material or carpet.Just look around for anything that is soft and springy.

I beleive the green Antron fleece has been discontinued, so you might have to get white and dye it.You could enquire at the gastage website.

Here in the uk it isnt easy to find anything, I used a sandwich of felt then rubber (actually a pair of shoe soles from the coblers) then a thick leather and then some felt to stop the sweating. It worked out well for me.

Thank you !

Yeah I was planning to get 3 Yards of Antron......

Ive been working on a few basic face builds and been wanting to maybe do a Beaker one day...
What muppet would you say is the easiest to make is?

BTW TML LOVE the kermit and all your puppets...

Is there any chance you could either send me the template of kermit / any of your builds so i can use it as a guide line ?
Or If not any hits of 'sizes' I could work too as im currently building it of some words on this... and the template of a head i found online too!

Cheers
