I laughed myself silly when I read this post in Peter David's blog. I posted some comments about it and the resulting discussion. If you're sensitive about people making fun of lovable `ol Ernie I wouldn't recommend reading it.

(Peter is of course a well-known author of Science Fiction books - including several of the better Star Trek titles - and his wife Kathleen is a puppeteer)
