not really 100% sure where i'm going with this one. still need to do the body/legs and finish up a ton of stuff for the face/head but like the title says it's still a work in progress.

here's 2 pics i snapped quick to show the direction it's gone in so far.

ps.. is attach image turned off here?? can't seem to get it to let me put the actual pics in the thread.. just the links....

thanks gfarkwort, appreciate it! the eyes are the only part i've really put time into other than the actual cutting / sewing of the pattern. makes me want to quit my day job lol

i also wanted to say thanks to Project Puppet. i bought the glorified sock pattern a few weeks back from their site and if it wasn't for them this creation would not exist. for a 100% newbie like me a simple pattern like this is really helping me learn the basics and start to get an understanding of things.

now it's just a matter of time to get the ideas out of the brain and onto the fleece!

Right on! Reminds me slighly of Jim Henson Hour's Zondra meets a Fraggle.

here's a shot of another one that was started this weekend. i also finished the arms on the first one and have been experimenting with different wire types to make the fingers/arms posable / able to clasp lightweight objects.

just a fairly generic start of a monster head. really more of a test run on a small scale to see how the shape looks.
