Hey Friends

I am working on a Gonzo puppet and I have almost everything that I need from him except for blue or purple ostrich feathers for his hair.

I am having a really hard time finding the right color of ostrich feathers!

Is it possible to dye white ostrich feathers? If so please tell me how should I do it and what color rit-dye should I use?

Thank you'

Jesse AKA ploobis :concern:

P.S.

You can check out my Gonzo puppet on my pics from my myspace. Just go to the photo album called "Me & My Puppets".

Tony Hill http://www.tonyhill.net/productCat95937.ctlg would be a good source to contact about dying the feathers. They may even have "rejects" they could sell you that were not dyed the proper color for them to sell as advertised, but may be the blue/gray hue you're after.

Good luck.
