It's been announced that there will be a new series of books called "Henson Performers Series", focusing on Muppet performers other than Jim Henson.

From the press release by Ballentine Books:
"Over the years, there have been many biographical books on Jim Henson, Muppet performer and creator, but there are so many more performers who don't get the same kind of attention, so coming this Fall will be the start of a new book series, Henson Performers Series. Each book will focus on a Muppet performer who isn't Jim Henson. The first wave of books in this series will focus on Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, Fran Brill, and a fifth book, "Underrated Performers Vol. 1", focusing on performers whose scope of work with The Jim Henson Company is too small to warrant a book, but we wanted to give them some attention. Underrated performers are TBA. Future books are planned to focus on Caroll Spinney, Steve Whitmire, Matt Vogel, and a "Henson Family Performers" book focusing on Jane, Brian, and John Henson's performing contributions.

The books are being aimed at the 14-18-year-old crowd, but will still be of value to younger and older fans, especially the hardcore fans (who will want to own everything). Each book will be written by Henson Company historian Craig Shemin, with foreword by Henson Company archivist Karen Falk. Each book will be in paperback (with limited edition hardcovers), have a variety of full color and black and white pictures, run roughly 36 pages each, and cost $19.00 (price for hardcover copies TBD)."
