Meanwhile, one of our fellow MCers has been fighting to protect his rights that Chumpcare would do away with has been arrested for peacefully protesting . . . because, again, if you're disabled in Trump's America, you brought it on yourself and therefore don't deserve any kind of decent healthcare, because you probably weren't a godly person to begin with (y'know, 'cause some of Drumpf's goons say if people live godly lives, they don't need healthcare, because Jesus would be their healthcare). On the upside, he apparently feels all the more American and patriotic after the incident, so more power to him.

I'm still not acknowledging or observing Independence Day this year since this is no longer an independent country . . . but lordy, I just cringe to think what kind of an overinflated, overhyped, and over conspicuous Independence Day Trump will be making out of July 4 this year . . . maybe something like instead of calling it Independence Day, he'll name it, "The First Annual Renewal of America in a Bigly Way Day." Y'know, 'cause he actually dubbed his inauguration day, "National Day of Renewed Patriotism."
well I'm not celebrating ether, because the fourth it's my birthday, and i have to spend it with my mom who does nothing but criticizes every thing that i do and is not supportive of my choices , and constantly tries to destroy my self esteem, and constantly tries ruin anything for me. as this country, i don't really think that we need to celebrate the fourth, the way this country is right now.

Ok so what really happened?
In Co (my home state) the group I am apart of (ADAPT) was protesting at our Republican Senator's office. 9 of us were upstairs and stayed in the office for almost 60 hours straight. I was down on the ground floor. Arrests happened because it was a "sit-in" type protest, and I was arrested while I was trying to film the police escorting the other protesters (one of which is my fiance') out of the building.

If you are interested I can message you a link to the story.

No thanks....The reason I asked is because i think protesting like that is a waste of time. Your group did nothing but waste tax payers dollers on paying the offiers that arrested you. You may have had a good point to make, but did it really do any good?
I just personally believe that there are better methods out there that could get your group's message across.
I've said this before, but just because you may have the legal right to do something it doesn't mean it's right.
