Dreamgirls was a broadway musical long before Hairspray... Dreamgirls opened on Broadway in '81. The first Hairspray movie didn't even come out until 1988... As for the movie... I can't wait to see it... keep an eye on Dreamgirls, I have a feeling it's going to be a big nominee at the Oscars...

I can say with great confidence that Legally Blonde will not be a hit... it is not targeted to a theatre audience... there are too many other good shows currently playing or coming within the current season for Legally Blonde to stand a chance. Legally Blonde the Musical will close within 6 months.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it... and I don't mean to offend... but this musical makes me want to throw up... there is nothing redeeming about it... awful rubbish
