I was thinking of getting an extra Rowlf to attempt a Rowlf fantasy Pez dispenser. Has anybody else popped off the head of any of their figures? Does it come off easily?
This is the first real piece of Pepe merchandise I have seen... it's at Hot Topic.... a pin that says "Pepe for President" and has Pepe pointing. I have seen pictures of the other pins on the site, but haven't seen this one on it. It was loose in their pin can.
To counteract the worst things the Muppets have done, what do you think are the best things they have done this year?
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
2. Palisades figures
3. "Keep Fishin'" Weezer video
4. the return of the Kermit balloon
Well it's probably been one of the best years for the Muppets post-Jim. Maybe you think everything they did this year was great, but maybe you thought they could have passed on a few things. What do you think was the worst thing they did this year?
I would say 2 things they could have...
So many Henson productions seem to get better with every viewing. Emmet Otter may be one of the top 10 direct to TV productions ever released by anybody, in any genre. You simply don't see quality made like this anymore. As far as Christmas movies go, I think this is as much of a classic as...
I just watched "The Muppet Musicians of Bremen" that I taped about 10 years ago when Nickelodeon had "Muppet Matinee". The puppetry on it is amazing. Except for a few shots where you can see the strings on the marionettes, all the characters are completley life-like, more than any computer...
After seeing It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas, how would you rank the Henson Christmas movies and specials?
Mine might go something like this:
1. Muppet Christmas Carol
2. Emmet Otter
3. Muppet Family Chrismtas
4. Very Merry Muppet Christmas
5. Christmas Toy
The scenes with David Arquette and Whoopie Goldberg were thankfully not too long, if they were any longer they could have gotten boring. The way these scenes looked were very Hallmark miniseries/ Brian Henson directed (even though he didn't direct it). Though it might just be that Jim Henson...
Last night on the E! show rank they had a top 20 list of the all-time best Christmas movies. Muppet Chrismas Carol made it on the list at #15! They even had a really short interview clip of Gonzo (with Piggy and Kermit) saying "It's one of our favorites too" or something to that effect. The...
If anybody else here has any interest in fighting evil, then please check out my online petition and sign it! Even if you've seen dolphin shows and have ignorantly enjoyed them as many people have, take a look at the petition and learn some of the dark truths behind these shows. You also don't...
Another adult humor puppet show debuts on Comedy Central on June 2
here's the description from Comedy Central's site:
From the minds that brought you "The Man Show" comes "Crank Yankers," a perverse phony-phone-call show in which actual crank calls become the basis for a twisted town...
I read an article in the newspaper about Greg the Bunny, it said that several Henson veterans worked on the show and that they went to them for advice. They didn't mention any names but they said that the Henson veterans told them that one gag was a little too much and they toned it down. Has...
