well, disney was smart enough to snatch up the muppets (though they've yet to do much with them in a decent prime time format) and was also smart enough to buy pixar and let them still do things the "pixar way", so they can't be all bad.
:D
also, to whet people's appetite...

click on the larger image and enjoy the free itunes goodness. for those who haven't read the comic, there is a free "watchmen" motion comic on itunes.
i know this is all kinda...
this film is going to be epic. after doing frank miller's "300", i was an instant zack snyder fan. sure, there have been changes from the comic but i'm not worried about that. i'm sure that within the scope and context of the film, snyder made the right move.
additionally, this...
crap. i'll be in greensboro in may for free comic book day, but next week is a bit short notice. i'll have to keep my eyes peeled on the j&t site / blog for more shows out this way. have fun in nc!
i really like the "video blog" idea. i had actually considered doing that as a youtube series myself once i'm a little more prepared. money's just been tight, bleh. that way, at the very least if i'm doing the series solo, it wouldn't be too odd that there's no other characters. just sort of...
i would think the situations addressed in the context of the program. college aged, i would think along the lines of dating and jobs and stuff or even beyond that into the types of programs you can catch during prime time network tv... i have no problem when my 5-year old wants to watch most...
"fur tv" is really nothing more than shock puppetry. it's like, "woo, yeah, let's be all outlandish and vulgar for the sake of being outlandish and vulgar!"
the most successful tv shows, movies, books, comics, or whatever come from people writing and creating what they want to create, not what...
well, it's not a definitive conclusion that the mayan calander indicated the end of the world. i believe the shoe fairy's assumption that a new calender cycle would begin is much more accurate. people love to take something and make it into what it is not. heck, my wall calender ends at december...
not bad. i think i'd have trouble following the mouse and skunk as their line of sight seems to point up a bit. of course, when they're "live" that may not be the case.
kudos!
but what are we going to make movies of if there's no catastrophes to anticipate?
in all seriousness, it's ridiculous to believe any of the hype over man-planned "end-times" speculation. sure, it's fun to goof on and we can only hope that the cgi isn't too "scooby-doo" in the movies...
great find! this is going to be a fantastic film. apple has the trailer in hd for those interested... gaiman is quite possibly my favorite storyteller ever.

y2k v2.0. lot of hoopla, not a lot of substance other than the cosmic alignment of the sun, the earth, and the center of the milky way, which should be pretty cool.
but, hey, who knows?
