    Tex Richman's age

How old was he supposed to be? We know the Muppets performed at his tenth birthday party but this implies the man is younger than the actor who played him since Chris Cooper is a bit old to have had them perform at his tenth birthday party. Isn't he?

Muppet Show Season 4 coming in 2013

@caper, I should hope it's reason #1, because if it's either of the other two, we need to storm their offices with torches and pitchforks!

I'd also like to add Snoop Dogg to the list.

List of names that didn't occur to me that people said that I agree with Steve Carell Tina Fey Sarah Silverman Hugh Laurie Seth Rogen Robin Williams Jack Black (Not that I care for him, I'd just like to see how they'd play up his part in the movie) Fallon Kimmel

I agree with Tom Hanks, Segel, Stone and Tennant. Neil Patrick Harris and Head would be neat too.

    Muppet Family Christmas

It's only a rumor as of now but it's listed on blu-ray.com.

    Muppet Family Christmas

Yes, Disney does own this great special (as far as I heard). Hopefully it will be an extra on this giant blu-ray set we've been hearing about of all the movies, if that is a fact as well.

List of potential "very special guest stars" if the Muppet Show were to return...

In no particular order, and some of these people may not be guest stars I'd particularly want on the show but it would happen anyway: 1. Matt Smith (the current Doctor on Doctor Who) 2. Jason Segel (of course) 3. Dr. Ken Jeong 4. Zach Galafinakis 5. Bradley Cooper 6. Ed Helms 7. Megan Fox 8...

An idea for the movies when they hit Blu-ray...

blu-ray.com actually has a listing for that set and Tough Pigs.com said they'd look into it.

    They were released this September.

An idea for the movies when they hit Blu-ray...

It will be steep for collectors like you guys and myself, but just hear me out, you guys will like this idea. In September of this year, George Lucas, whom we all know as a man who will market everything and its grandfather, released Star Wars: The Complete Saga to blu-ray featuring all six...

Muppet Show Season 4 coming in 2013

For all the people who are arguing over Disney's reasoning for not releasing Season Four yet, they're missing the point. Between Season Three's release (which, IIRC, was May 2008?) and the current film, they could have released Season Four long long ago and released #5 to tie-in with the movie!

    Favorite Gordon?

Okay, folks, we all know three actors played Gordon Robinson on Sesame Street, Matt Robinson, Hal Miller, and Roscoe Orman, the latter being the one I grew up with being a child of the 80s era of the show. I don't count the fellow from the pilot as I did not care much for him and I don't even...

What if Fozzie had appeared on Sesame Street?

I disagree. The Muppet Show Muppets were more adult but Fozzie Bear, I think, could have crossed over to Sesame Street. Gonzo and Miss Piggy I don't see on Sesame Street at all. I don't see The Electric Mayhem Band or Sam the Eagle there either but Fozzie I can see on Sesame Street because he's...

What if Fozzie had appeared on Sesame Street?

And since he was Kermit's best friend as well as a very sweet, good-natured fellow, could you folks have seen Fozzie Bear showing up on Sesame Street for a quick cameo, like to assist Kermit with one of those lectures Grover would interrupt or to meet Kermit's pals in his neighborhood? I happen...

For 80s era fans who have the Old School sets

I said it seemed odd, Ilikemuppets, I didn't say I didn't like it. It was nice to see Kermit actually had a relationship with the grown-ups before Jim Henson had more projects to worry about. And he actually worked well with Gordon, Susan and Bob too. I wonder if he would have worked as well...

    My Lunch With Maria

Disclaimer: This was based on a dream I had in July. I practically did live on Sesame Street as a lad but in real life, I never lived in New York City. My Lunch With Maria It’s funny how adulthood can make you forget about some of the best friends you ever had as a child, even as...

    Follow That Bird Discussion Thread

Follow that Bird was the very first movie I ever saw at the movies. I was four. I loved it. I watched the movie in parts on YouTube recently and, much to my surprise, twenty-three years later, I still got the same warm feeling in me when Big Bird got home than I did at the time. Favorite songs...

For 80s era fans who have the Old School sets

Was I the only 80s child who has the Old School sets and found it a little odd to see :) hanging out in Gordon's apartment with Gordon and Bob in the premiere episode? I'd never considered it before watching this episode but it made me realize that everyone's favorite frog never interacted with...

Muppet Show Muppets on Sesame Street

Or at least they could have had Fozzie make a few appearances to help Kermit with his lectures and meet the Sesame Street gang. Fozzie Bear actually would have made a good children's educator.
