I personally think some of the moderation is a bit too controlling in general. For example, why are some thread titles superfluously altered? Why are full thread titles invisible from the main forum page now, forcing you to open the thread just to see the topic?
That is great news indeed. More money means more effort and better production standards. And bigger marketing will hopefully lead to merchandise as well as promotionals, something previously unaddressed.
There's other material on single-discs that collectors may want, such as new featurettes and music-only tracks.
Plus, the purchase of items like these strengthen the overall brand which, in turn, strengthens the possibility of future products in all categories.
Episode list and finalized bonus features have been announced, thanks to TVShowsOnDVD.com:

I hope Henson and Lionsgate can issue both box sets with some sort of replica material, keeping them in line with the other releases.
With so much work already done, including new package designs, there might still be time to cook something up before November 3rd.

That's certainly not good news. If the bottom does fall, I hope Henson can pull FR clean away and line it up with someone else.
The fact it's not off the ground yet might actually be for the best. The amount of money committed to the project must be minimal at this point. If financing isn't...
About a dozen full UK episodes exist. As Chris said, the rest are currently lost. Every existing episode was issued by HIT in the UK. They're sold out now, but you can find used copies on Amazon. You would also need a region-free DVD player to view those discs.
Cool. This is a clear attempt to introduce a more efficient, less expensive complete set into the market, which is great. And it's coming the same day as S4. Exactly what should have transpired a year ago.
One concern: neither of these sets appear to include replica material. Based on the...
I thought the first two, maybe three, single Turtles discs looked about as good as they could. I'm not sure what format the masters exist on in the first place, but I don't think daily cartoon shows from that era will ever look stunning. The subsequent volumes and season sets did take a tumble...
