Has anyone ever thought of making a Ghostbuster Fozzie from a Patrol Bear Fozzie? I think it's as simple as repainted him and removing a few minor details.... then giving him a proton pack.
I agree... Muppets at Walt Disney World is my favorite special. And Muppets Tonight is great too.
It's strange, yesterday I was wondering why Disney had never released the special on DVD.
OK... forget anything I ever said about my next project. I found an old Cranky Kong action figure (Donkey Kong's grandfather from the video games) and believe it or not... from the neck down he kinda has the same body shape as Sal Minella! So, I popped off his head and hopefully soon will start...
I just had the best idea today.... Haunted Mansion Muppets! I've been screwing around with a pulley-like system I created with a shoelace.... and an Uncle Deadly figure. How cool would it be to have Deadly as the Ghost Host/Master Gracey? Kermit and Fozzie could be visiting the mansion...
Yeah, I was referring to the online store.
I'm also pretty sure that you can contact Disney Merchandising and they'll ship it to you.
I myself know a few people who work for the Mouse... but I do go to WDW quite often so I may be able to pick up a set anyway.
So, I just throw my figure in a pot of water and turn on the stove? Haha that sounds crazy but if it can pull off some of the stuff I've seen I better get some more pots!
You can always order them online. The Disney Store usually has a good selection of In Park Merchandise. They sell a lot of Vinylmations, Plush, Pins, Toys, etc.
My favorite part about these so far is the accuracy of the weapons they come with. They nailed Han's DL-44, Luke, Ben and Dearth's Lightsaber handles, and even Leia's blaster is accurate! I'm not sure about Chewies crossbow, though, but I can't really see it anyway...
You boil it with the figure.... or the piece itself then attach it to the figure? This stuff sounds interesting....
But yeah, I may revisit Dearth one of these days. Next I might do a plain Robin.
Oh, I didn't even notice the back of his helmet! I'll probably do something about that.
I used modeling clay. Probably not the best idea for customizing figures but he's really only going to be displayed.
