Long time since I been here >__<; I spent a real busy senior year so didn't have much time for forums. Puppetry, of course though! Anyways its been ages since I made a puppet and I felt like finally using the GSP pattern thats been collecting dust since I bought it. Its so easy to use, I just...
A couple of hours ago I dyed some antron fleece using the Scarlet dye, the color looked amazing when wet and i let it soak in some extra dye since i knew it'd look lighter once dried. However now that its starting to dry, I noticed its a LOT lighter than what I wanted. So i was wondering, is it...
Yup made this awhile back, operated with a ring trigger and its light-bulb lights up and the eyes move to the left and right.
One Way Street made the original one, I based mine off theirs.

I'd use things like hooks and prop stands to put up trees and other scenic elements. My team hasn't really done much with scenery yet but our next show [in about a month] will so we're going to be using hooks and prop racks/stands.
O: Lovely replicas, you definitely have talent with the Fraggles, I just wish I was able to do that good a job but I haven't had much success lately D:
I am one of the people that find the PP patterns to be expensive, I have a collection of patterns and not one of them is over 20$ and from those few patterns I've been able to adapt them to suit my needs.
I think you should price them based on what you desire is.
Is it to make an enormous...
@Teenager No you still don't get it sorry >_< I did use two pieces to do that. Now I'm trying to glue the foam skull to the mouthplate
@Stacey I think that is my problem XD;;
@Ravage Thanks I think I finally get that problem so I need to go out and buy some CONTACT cement ^^;
Thanks...
I'd love to buy the Mostro pattern but its too expensive for me. I find the Project Puppet Patterns to just be too pricey for me at the moment.. I wish it were otherwise.
But I so looked foward to its release and am pleased with the sample! I literally checked the page everyday from the 19th of...
@Teenager's I don't think you understand the problem, I have 2 half circles for the mouthplates. I duct taped them together with a small gap in between.
@Ravage I always use rubber cement to glue my puppets together!
@Nojoy I would have but the foam is the puppets skin as well and glue...
I'm having a very hard time with a puppet I'm making. I'm using regular Rubber Cement on the mouthplate to glue the foam to the mouthline, but the glue simply won't adhere the foam and the ducttape to eachother. I'm using Gatorfoam for my mouthplate and it works fine until I get to the joining...
Its not very impractical really and it adds a lot more believability to the show. I used a human-arm puppet in our New Years performance and controlled the right arm and the head, for a 7 minute monologue. It was very tiring but its worth it. Its definitely a crowd-pleaser but the main thing is...
Heeey all, been awhile since I posted anything [i think xD;]
But my question is, how can you make arms rods like the screw-in type? Or anything kind of arm rod which doesn't really need rubber bands?
I've seen velcro but when using them rigorously they don't work too well.
Thanks in advance for...
