I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a big ticket Muppet collectible for years, but I can't decide what. I have hundreds of items in my collection, but mostly small stuff. A few items around $100 but nothing significant.

I would have grabbed one for you a couple of weeks ago when I got mine, but you had 2 other people looking. Sorry.

I didn't buy to to play, just display. I try to collect obscure Muppet items, besides the common ones I have.

Bought Atari 2600 pigs in space game today on eBay.

Saw the items this past weekend. Didn't really care for them.

Since reading this post I am obsessively counting collar points.

It's not a bad thing that they aren't saturating the market with crap. But I can tell you nearly every weekend I go out to a store I find a new muppet item. Be it key chains, plushes, Ty beanies, iPod cases, headphones and a lot more. I think you just need to look harder.

Hallmark stores might be a good place to search.

I found mine at a locally owned toy store. You will just have to look where toys or Ty beanies are sold seeing they are not available on Ty's website. Good luck. I paid $12 for mine. If I thought I could have made some money I would have bought the 10 they had in stock.

An amazing new find today. It's a Ty beanie Kermit The Frog. It stands about 12". It's amazing. And after a short discussion with the small shops owner I found out Disney struck a deal with Ty. For now Kermit is the only Muppet to get a Ty beanie but more Disney characters are to come and...

I scored some nice items at a few antique shops today. I got a muppet Disney world popcorn bucket. A set of muppet hallmark note cards from 1979. A miss piggy ceramic candy dish. I now have over 500 pieces in my muppets collection. I really need to post some pics.

I've seen them on eBay without boxes go for $20-$30 each . I might be interested in the whole set around $20 a piece.

Hands down its Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas. I actuall skipped school in the 2nd grade so I could stay home and watch it on HBO in the morning. in 1986.
