I can vaguely recall a sketch with Elmo or some muppet and a guest star who shouted "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" and then poured water all over himself. I was under the impression that Robin Williams was making a cameo in this sketch; however, if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.

Hi everyone,
I can vaguely remember sometime in the early '90s (I guess it was 1993) when S.S. featured a sub-plot in a series of episodes starting with Telly breaking his arm and everything leading up to getting his cast off. Can someone who remembers this give me just a brief outline...
In 6 days, I'll be performing in a three-show run of my school's production of "Footloose!" Yes, that's right! The musical adaptation of the ever popular Kevin Bacon movie from 1984. I am playing Ethel McCormack, Ren (Kevin Bacon's character)'s mom. It's so much fun, since my "son" is great to...
There may have been a thread about this already, but after looking through the forums, I haven't found one....Anyway, what are your favorite Monsterpiece Theater segments? Mine is probably "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Having seen it as a child, I thought it funny to see a number one...
I remember seeing this sketch sometime about a decade ago or 11 years ago, but all I can really remember is the end of it, where Cookie eats the book. Can someone explain it to me in detail so I can recall some of what I forgot?

Does anyone remember the alphabet sketches where it shows a long, narrow, white corridor with all these doors, and when a door is opened, there is a song related to a certain letter? If indeed any of you remember these sketches, could you fill me in? All I can really put my finger on is one...
Since there's a Subway thread, I thought i'd pay tribute to my favorite sub restaurant, Quizno's. My favorite sub there is most definitely the Deli Tuna. What about all of you?

Hi everyone,
Telly was never really one of my favorite characters, but I just find it so funny during the part in the "Bedtime Stories and Songs" video (i know, I've mentioned that a lot, but it's the only SS video I still have!) where Telly is supposed to sleep over Big Bird's nest and he's...
hi everyone,
a particular sketch just came to mind the other day...it's a sketch that opens with cookie monster singing "c is for cookie" to himself and then a monster to whom he refers as "cousin monster" enters...i'm pulling a forgetful jones here about the rest of this sketch, so i'd...
hi everyone,
while racking my sesame street memory, i've remembered 2 sketches but do not know the entire story of each of them. if you know any more details, please let me know:
1) one where ernie wakes up to find cookie monster in his bed and screams "AAH! there's a monster in my bed!"...
Hi all,
When I was very young, my aunt had a copy of the Sesame Street storybook (don't know if I even still have it) and she had given it to me as a hand-me-down because I always asked to hear a story from it. It included stories such as "The Magic Apple," "Herbert Birdsfoot Explains the...
Anyone remember this sketch? I have a vague memory of it from watching SS during my childhood, and I do remember that Prairie Dawn wanted to do something but a certain restriction impeded her from doing so, and the contestants had to guess why she couldn't do it. I forget the other details, so...
...an episode of Sesame Street from the early 90's featuring a deaf girl named "Nicole?" I've actually never seen the episode, but the girl who played "Nicole" is actually my friend's sister...weird huh?
